Programmes

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka leads and collaborates on a variety of research programmes that support our long-term vision to create a museum that is compelling, inclusive and relevant to the art histories that are unique to the contexts of Sri Lanka.

‘In Translation’ Roundtable and Translations Toolkit

The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka’s commitment to working in Sinhala, Tamil and English comes with many day-to-day challenges. ‘In Translation’ is the first of an ongoing series of roundtable discussions between editors, translators, art historians and translation studies scholars to address such challenges and compile a Translation Toolkit.
