Architect and artist Ismeth Raheem (b. 1941) speaks to Chief Curator Sharmini Pereira about his friendship and close collaborations with artist Laki Senanayake (1937–2021). ‘Montage of Cinnamon Lodge’ (2005) by Ismeth Raheem and ‘Plan of Kandalama Hotel’ (1993) by Laki Senanayake are on display in ‘Encounters’ Rotation 2 until 13 November 2022.
