In this Reading Group meant for architects and non-architects alike, Tariq Jazeel, Professor of Human Geography at the University College London, UK will discussanalyse the architectural method of Minnette De Silva (1918–1998) and architectural method. The selection of texts includes ‘Conservative Surgery’ (1947) by Patrick Geddes (1854–1932), and ‘Architecture’s Expanded Field’ (2004) by Anthony Vidler (1941–2023). The texts will be emailed to all participants upon registration, and it is recommended that they read them before attending the Reading Group.
