Gallery Talk: ‘After Minnette: Sri Lankan Women in Architecture’ with Anurangi Mendis, Shayari de Silva, and Shehla Latiff

In this special Women’s Day event, Sharmini Pereira, Chief Curator speaks to Anurangi, Shayari, and Shehla about their experiences as Sri Lankan women practising architecture in multiple ways. Anurangi is a lecturer at the City School of Architecture and a partner at DXMID Design. Shayari is the Chief Curator of the Geoffrey Bawa Trust, while Shehla leads Urbanarc Architectural Consultants.
This Gallery Talk has been curated as part of the Public Programmes of the exhibition ‘88 Acres: The Watapuluwa Housing Scheme by Minnette De Silva’, on view until 7 July 2024.
